He Said, She Said

So the other day while I was in the train, I saw a random lady walking in with polka dot sweater, carrying lots of stuff. She looked like as if she needed to talk to someone. When we stopped at Pape station, she started talking to herself. I was listening to music so I couldn't hear anything for a good 5 minutes, it was really weird so I took off my ear phones to see what was up. She was way louder than I thought, she was talking about politics and how the governement is ruining the world. Every person that came sat beside her, she would turn to them and say "Jesus christ, this world is getting worse and worse day by day". One of the conversations I remember went like this :

The old lady: Women never have as much freedom, it's all about the MEN! Even though the majority of the population is women, only about 22 % is in the governement, the rest is just men. They never make the right decision, WAKE UP everyone, it's the truth and jesus christ knows it!

Person 1 : Can you please be quiet, some people are trying to read you know

The old lady: These books! they keep you busy, MEDIA, TELEVISION, MUSIC They are all planned to keep us dump people busy so we don't think about what the government is doing to us!!

Person 1: (walks away & gets off the station)

In a way she is right about not many women not being part of the government but she seemed as if she was abused or something. It felt like as if I was back in the 1920's (not sure what year) when women didn't have any freedom, in today's world women do have lots of freedom so I wasn't too sure what she was talking about. I understood the fact that she wasn't normal or she may have gone through something very harsh in her life.
